Christie Naeher : In June of 1996, Christie lost her husband of 15 years to a massive heart attack at the age of 42. Christie was left alone with two children to raise, her daughter was 10 and her son was 9. She focused her life on them, but when her daughter was at JMU and her son was about to graduate from high school to go to VCU, Christie decided that she needed to do something that would be good for her as well as for other people. That led her to going back to school and getting licensed and certified to do therapeutic massage. Christie loved it from the beginning. It was not the easiest course, but she was dedicated to learning everything she could about this healing art. This was the best decision that Christie has ever made. She has met some amazing people who come to her so that she can help them heal. If she can help just one person reduce their stress, pain, and lower their blood pressure it can help them deal with the pressures of every day life. It can also help them enjoy one more day with their families. Massage is so important to help keep you healthy, happy and pain free.
