Cupping

Cupping is a traditional form of Chinese medicine, although it has also been practiced in other cultures for centuries as well. This alternative treatment is a form of accupressure, which involves using glass cups as suction devices in order to alleviate pain, ailment and even "stagnation."  There are variations of cupping, some of which can be intense and possibly painful. Always talk to the therapist and make sure you share a common goal and comfort level.

Tip of the day

Ear Candling

People question whether or not this really works, but frankly I thought it was rather a fun experience. I was told it would clear the wax out of my ear canal, and I actually found the process slightly ticklish but very relaxing. The one I had included a face massage as well, to also aid my sinus congestion.
