At Spa-Addicts.com, our mission is to encourage a realistic, easily attainable “spa lifestyle” - one filled with frequent spa visits to luxurious day and/or medical spas, plus memorable spa getaways. We showcase detailed information on our featured spa partners, as well as financial incentives (such as add-ons, upgrades or discounts) to encourage immediate bookings and push new clientele to our partners. Through our unique and rewarding approach, we have attracted both spa newcomers and connoisseurs alike.

Why do we prefer the savvy and even entertaining approach to presenting spas versus a traditional format?

The environment and presentation of a magazine attracts a certain type of clientele, and so similarly does a website. Our presenting lavish spa treatment specials, comprehensive menus of spa services and detailed spa information in a upscale yet fun, user-friendly environment has enabled us to attract the "Sex & The City" audience of spa-goers. This desirable, powerful female clientele has the discretionary income to purchase large-ticket items, yet is smart and savvy enough to seek value and make smart financial decisions. This is why Spa-Addicts.com has attracted such a selective clientele: it is the only website that offers one the chance for "affordable" spa-going without sacrificing one's sense of luxurious pampering.

  • Red Hot Specials are offered in select major markets only, with these areas expanding to Atlanta, LA, San Diego and the states of CA, NJ and NY. Spas in other areas can join the Spa Directory (Day Spas & Medical Spas) or Resort Spa Directory

  • Spa-Addicts.com is listed on more than 300 Search Engines and purchases top placements on over 70 search engines - including the top search engines: Google, MSN, Yahoo and AOL

  • Registration is not required to use our services or respond to our spa partners, however registrations for the site and newsletters increases 8 - 10% monthly with less than 1% unsubscriber rate (per Constant Contact)

  • The website's average time per visitor session is 3:40. This is very strong and shows great attentiveness to the SPA'S INFORMATION, since this is our entire site content. Most visitors quickly "browse" for info they're seeking, so this is very compelling when typically time in "seconds" is the standard.

    DEMOGRAPHICS:

  • Information on our audience: 97% of spa-addicts are female, 39% are in their 20's, 34% in their 30's, 15% in their 40's, and 8% in their 50's (Source: Demographic Survey Q1 '04)

  • When it comes to frequency, 97% would visit spas more frequently with better prices or spa specials (we could have guessed that!!)

    AFFILIATIONS, PRESS, MARKETING:

  • Johnson & Johnson and Spa-Addicts.com co-hosted the National "Share the Strength Spa Program," with the Olympian Suzy Favor Hamilton serving as spokesperson during Women's Health Month (MAY, 2004). This involved a large event attracting 2,500 women in Bryant Park, NYC, plus a national campaign to educate osteoporosis awareness and underscore how spa treatments are an integral part of women's health. Plus, over 80 member spa-addicts spa partners participated in an optional sampling program, which allowed these spas to demonstrate their commitment to women's health issues in their own communities.

  • Recognized for its unique approach and valuable services, Spa-Addicts.com has been covered in the press - a big accomplishment in such a short time period.
